Does DCSE support LU pools? |
| |
Yes, provided that the TN3270 server supports them. DCSE allows the user to specify an
LU Name under Session Profile: Host: LU Name. This name can either be a specific LU, in which case DCSE will
connect only to that LU, or an LU pool name. If a pool name is specified, the TN3270 gateway service typically
assigns the first available LU in the pool to the connection.

16) |
Can I specify the pool name that each user connects to? |

If your SNA Server is configured correctly to support LUA pools, then you can specify the pool
name in the LU name under the Host dialog. You can set the following in the DCSE3270.INI file:
LU Name=<poolname>
under the appropriate session to log directly into the pool.
