NOTES:

1 The patch file must be executed on the machine running the DynaComm i:mail server.
2 A separate patch file is available for the Blocked Message Digest.

 

This patch file includes the following corrections:

P1.1 Fixed - Attempting to configure stamp text in Opt-out List Compliance returned the message that %ADDRESS% must be included, even though the string was present (SB1).

P1.2 Fixed - Virus Scanner Properties dialog does not allow entry of -100 exit codes (SB1).

P1.3 Fixed - When greater than 64 archive type Message Folders existed, archiving stopped.

P1.4 Fixed - SMTP service crashes unexpectedly (SB2).

P1.5 Added - Added check to ensure that patch file is applied to corresponding release installation.

P1.6 Fixed - Upgrade to 5.0 did not display message history in the Web Digest (SB1).

P1.7 Fixed - Upgrade to 5.0 did not process rules that include custom file types (SB1).

P2.1 Fixed - Service would crash under certain conditions when Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is enabled (SB3).

P2.2 Fixed - Blocked Message Digest display ignores selection in the Time Criteria box (SB3).

P2.3 Fixed - Upgrade to 5.0 removed all Known Spam Techniques when "Do not apply pre-configured Known Spam Techniques"option was enabled.

P3.1 Fixed - Service would crash under certain conditions when Sender Policy Framework (SPF) is enabled. NOTE: SPF has been disabled. Enabling the Sender Policy Framework (SPF) preconfigured spam technique has no effect (SB4).

P4.1 Fixed - Reports did not include all data due to delay in logging (SB7).

P4.2 Fixed - Duplicate users appeared when using Active Directory (SB8).

P4.3 Fixed - Console would randomly crash when delivering or deleting messages (SB9).

P4.4 Fixed - VRFY command would cause SMTP server to disconnect session (SB10).

P4.5 Fixed - HTML was not removed from message when option was enabled (SB11).

P4.6 Fixed - SMTP server would crash when performing DNS lookups (SB12).

P4.7 Fixed - The "Compact Folders and Bayesian Databases" task was not available after converting the Folders database to a SQL database (SB12).

Instructions:
  1. Stop the Dynacomm i:mail SMTP Service and close the DynaComm i:mail Management console.
  2. Click here to download the patch file.
  3. Unpack and apply the downloaded patch file.
  4. After installation is complete, open the DynaComm i:mail Management console and restart the DynaComm i:mail SMTP service.
  5. Read the updated readme file accessed from the DynaComm i:mail program group.
  6. Contact FutureSoft support if you have any problems downloading or working with the patch file.
