FutureSoft Announces User-Based Internet Filtering and Monitoring Product Houston, TX-November 27, 2001 FutureSoft, Inc. today announced the latest version of its Internet Filtering and Monitoring product, DynaComm i:filter. With this release, DynaComm i:filter introduces user-based monitoring of Internet activity for organizations. The DynaComm i:filter User Agent captures user logon names for effective tracking of individual Internet activity whether an organization is using Microsoft Networking or Novell NetWare. By tying activity to logon names, users who move from workstation to workstation can also be identified. Additionally, the User Agent captures logon information whether users are logged on locally or to a domain, ensuring that an organization’s Internet Access Policy can always be enforced. According to Rick Mansel, President and CEO of FutureSoft, “The latest release of DynaComm i:filter, by capturing logon information both locally and through a domain, brings true user-based monitoring to the market and enables organizations to have a complete and accurate picture of their Internet activity.” DynaComm i:filter helps organizations improve productivity, regain valuable network bandwidth and protect against unwanted publicity and lawsuits that may result from inappropriate Internet activity. DynaComm i:filter also features the industry’s largest and most comprehensive database with over 4 million categorized Web sites. New Functionality Available in DynaComm i:filter Version 2.2
